A key member of Manchester United “doesn’t look happy,” a pundit claims.

Jermain Defoe, a former England and Tottenham striker, claims that Marcus Rashford, a star for Manchester United, doesn’t appear to be pleased right now.

The Red Devils forward had perhaps his best season as a member of the team previous season, making him a star for Erik ten Hag’s team. However, he has utterly collapsed this season.

Although Defoe has acknowledged that Rashford doesn’t appear to be as happy and confident as he was during the previous season, it is unclear what is happening with him.

This is definitely concerning for United because Rashford can be so effective when he’s playing well. His goal drought has probably contributed to the team’s disappointing starts to the season and put additional pressure on other offensive players, like rookie Rasmus Hojlund, who probably wasn’t expected to step in and take the starting role for MUFC right away.

“A center striker faces pressure like this: if they score 30 goals in a season, can they score 31 the next? Defoe stated on Premier League Productions, “I think that’s the kind of pressure you have to put on yourself, I think you have to be obsessed with scoring goals, and it’s a good pressure,” as reported by the Metro.

“Listen, I adore Marcus Rashford. As Al Shearer mentioned, he seems like a whole different player when he plays for England.

He doesn’t appear to be joyful based on his body language and mood. That might impact how well you perform.

“You see the final opportunity [against Luton] where he takes two touches, and you would think that a self-assured Marcus Rashford would score on that first attempt, where all these familiar circumstances and gut feelings come into play.” They simply need to get him back to his best because he now seems off.
