After a 10-point deduction, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes says the Red Devils are cautious against Everton this weekend.
This weekend, Manchester United plays Everton, and Bruno Fernandes anticipates a harder match than usual because of the situation.
After their Premier League point deduction, Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, has acknowledged that this weekend’s matchup against Everton will be “really difficult.”
The midfield player won ten of his ten games to successfully wrap up his qualifying campaign with Portugal. He talked to FourFourTwo about his nation’s remarkable accomplishment and the impending matches with Manchester United following the 2-0 victory over Iceland.
With a goal differential of 36-2, Portugal emerged victorious from its group, and its current squad has an excellent blend of skill and experience. Fernandes, who contributed eight assists and six goals during the qualification campaign, is thrilled with his team’s recent results.
Portugal had an ideal campaign to qualify for the Euros.
He told FFT, “We knew we could do 10 out of 10, so we knew we wanted to do something special.” It was therefore on our thoughts. Since we are already a part of Portugal’s history, it is evident that this is an incredible experience, but we hope to create even more history in the future.
Despite their recent success, the aggressive midfielder says the team is confident as they prepare for the Euros. “We would obviously be really confident to go to the Euros and put ourselves in a position to get as far as possible, even if it wasn’t a perfect qualification.”
Fernandes is optimistic that United, who have won their previous two games in the Premier League, can maintain its current success at the club level. However, he claims that the forthcoming match against Everton is difficult and will be much more so in light of the recent announcement that the Toffees will lose points due to financial violations.
Everton has lost league points as a result.
Fernandes states, “We have to concentrate game by game. We have an away game against Everton and it’s really difficult to play there.” “We just need to find the focus to go to Everton and win the game because we know that these kinds of games in the Premier League are always tough. They just lost 10 points, so we know that they need points and they will fight for their points.”
“Obviously, [Galatasaray] is a big game after that; we know where we stand in the Champions League and what needs to be done.” Because we are unable to plan too far ahead, it is wise to concentrate on each game individually.
Fernandes is expected to bring some of his nation’s stability to United. The Red Devils will be competitive both at home and in Europe if they win their next two games.
