Before FC Copenhagen’s match, Marcus Rashford is back in Manchester United’s training, while Kobbie Mainoo is absent.
Marcus Rashford of Manchester United participated in a short training session prior to his team’s pivotal Champions League matchup with FC Copenhagen.
Naturally, Rashford was unable to play in United’s Saturday matchup against Fulham at Craven Cottage because to a serious knock he received during before training.
Reporters were informed by Erik ten Hag that it was determined not to take a chance on the Englishman because he had several significant games coming up.
In a move that will significantly help Ten Hag’s selection, Rashford was observed practicing with his teammates.
Whether Rashford will be ready to play against Jacob Neestrup’s team at Parken Stadium is still to be determined.
Victor Lindelof was also in training. Lindelof was sick and missed the Fulham match. All indications suggest that he is fully recovered and could play against FC Copenhagen.
No one saw Kobbie Mainoo at Carrington earlier today, according to The Manchester Evening News.
In addition to starting on the bench during the weekend, Mainoo was included in the matchday squad for Manchester City’s derby loss.
The highly-regarded 18-year-old has obviously not played for the first team since making a full recovery from an injury sustained during the preseason tour.
Here is the whole United training squad for Copenhagen, as reported by MEN:
Goalkeepers: Tom Heaton, Altay Bayindir, and Andre Onana.
Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Raphael Varane, Sergio Reguilon, and Diogo Dalot are the defenders.
Midfielders: Mason Mount, Hannibal Mejbri, Christian Eriksen, Sofyan Amrabat, Donny van de Beek, Scott McTominay, and Bruno Fernandes
Forwards: Omari Forson, Alejandro Garnacho, Facundo Pellistri, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, and Rasmus Hojlund.
