Before the Galatasaray match, Erik ten Hag gives Kobbie Mainoo and Facundo Pellistri advise.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has talked about Kobbie Mainoo and Facundo Pellistri, two of his team’s young breakout players.

On Sunday, Mainoo made his Premier League debut against Everton and was perhaps the finest player on the field. Pellistri, who replaced Alejandro Garnacho off the bench, also produced a solid cameo.

Before tomorrow’s Champions League encounter against Galatasaray, Ten Hag was questioned by the media. One issue concerned 18-year-old Mainoo and whether or not Ten Hag was concerned about playing him in the hostile environment that awaits them in Istanbul.

He answered, “No, we’re not afraid, and if players are talented enough, they’re old enough.

Mainoo, who made his Premier League debut on Sunday against Everton, was perhaps the best player on the pitch. Pellistri, who came on as a substitute for Alejandro Garnacho, made a strong cameo as well.

Ten Hag was questioned by the media ahead of Galatasaray’s Champions League match tomorrow. One matter pertained to Mainoo, who is eighteen years old, and whether Ten Hag was worried about portraying him in the antagonistic atmosphere that awaits them in Istanbul.

In response, he said, “No, we’re not scared, because people who are skilled enough are mature enough.

When asked what advice he would give a budding player like Mainoo at this point in his career, Ten Hag said:

“Enjoy it, stay focused, and avoid getting sidetracked by things other than football.” You must concentrate on your performance and game in order to reach the appropriate levels.

The focus shifted to Pellistri.

Due to his controversial dismissal against FC Copenhagen, Marcus Rashford will be missing tomorrow’s game due to suspension. During the press conference, Ten Hag stated that Antony will rejoin the team after missing the Everton match, but he was questioned about the young Uruguayan and whether he could fill in for Rashford.

Ten Hag answered, “For Pella, he also needs to make the transition from bench player—who frequently comes in and makes a great impact—to starting XI player.

“We’ll see how quickly things move along.”
