Barcelona notify Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta about transfer plan. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, FC Barcelona have told Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta that they would sign the Spaniard within the coming few weeks.  

Raheem Sterling has been spotted in London ahead of the England international’s medical at Chelsea after the west Londoners agreed a fee with Manchester City. Sterling is set to become a Chelsea player in the coming days but needs to complete a medical to officially sign from Man City. 

Leeds United winger Raphinha is very close to joining Barcelona for €55million (£46.6m) plus performance-related add-ons despite a higher offer from Chelsea, according to Spanish outlet Sport.

The 25-year-old, who has been left out of Leeds’ travelling squad for their pre-season tour in Australia, is reportedly hoping that his transfer to Barcelona could be announced in the next few hours.

Manchester United have made an enquiry about Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes. The club are expected to sign Christian Eriksen on a free transfer this week while negotiations continue for Frenkie de Jong. Alternatives targets are being considered in midfielder with Paredes being the latest.
