Erik ten Hag discloses a new set of injuries ahead of Manchester United’s match against West Ham.

The most recent injury updates and team news as Manchester United prepares to play West Ham in the Premier League.

Before their Premier League trip to play West Ham, Manchester United is expected to be without a few key players, and Victor Lindelof will likely need to miss a significant amount of time due to surgery.

According to Erik ten Hag, several players have been ill this week and are running out of time to be well in time for the match on Saturday lunchtime.

Lindelof had surgery for a recent, undisclosed ailment, and both Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez could return to play before the end of the month.

“We have a few uncertainties and some illnesses this week,” he informed the media prior to kickoff. “We have to see who is available for tomorrow, hopefully they are recovered, we have to see.”

In response to a specific question on Casemiro and Martinez’s fitness, he said, “We expect them back in mid-January; they are not accessible before Christmas.

Mason Mount was comparable until January. Harry Maguire, I anticipate him soon. Due to surgery, Victor Lindelof is not accessible and won’t be for a few weeks. He needed to get the operation done because of a personal issue.”

Due to an injury that required him to leave the match against Chelsea two weeks ago at halftime, Lindelof has missed the last three games.

Since Anthony Martial missed last week’s matches against Bayern Munich and Liverpool due to sickness, there hasn’t been any news, and Christian Eriksen hasn’t returned to team practice either.

Bruno Fernandes has returned from a one-match ban, while Diogo Dalot is suspended for the away encounter against West Ham following his controversial red card for dissent at Anfield.

Ten Hag said Tyrell Malacia won’t be back until early in the new year, while Harry Maguire will only be absent for a brief while.
