Fabrizio Romano addresses rumors that Man United had found Erik ten Hag’s replacement.

Transfer news specialist Fabrizio Romano appears to be unaware of the latest rumors indicating that Erik ten Hag of Manchester United may be considering former Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui as a possible replacement.

Known for his dependability, Romano made it clear that he is not currently aware of any specific information regarding a management change at Old Trafford in an exclusive interview with CaughtOffside for his Daily Briefing column.

Although he acknowledged the efforts of his colleagues, Romano made it apparent that there is currently no sign of communication between Lopetegui and Manchester United.

He made it clear that he was unable to verify the events, even if reliable sources had suggested Lopetegui as a potential contender.

Romano stressed that, to the best of his knowledge, United still stands by Ten Hag despite the need for development.

Romano mentioned Lopetegui, pointing out that the Spanish strategist declined a job offer to lead Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia and has stated a wish to return to the Premier League.

Beyond this data, though, there isn’t a big update available just yet.

Even though the circumstances could alter, it seems that Ten Hag is still supported by the club and that Manchester United’s management structure is stable for the time being, even in light of the need for reform.

Supporters can disagree on whether a seasoned individual like Lopetegui might adopt a new strategy and bring about constructive improvements.
