As the superstar achieved yet another professional milestone, he took time to express his gratitude to everyone at Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed gratitude to his old Manchester United teammates and other supporters for their assistance in helping him accomplish yet another incredible feat.

In Friday’s 4-1 victory over Al-Riyadh, the 38-year-old marked his 1,200th career appearance and scored his 19th goal of the year. With 16 goals in 15 games, he tops the Saudi Pro League scorers chart and is now just 16 goals shy of 750 club goals.

Up to 145 of his goals occurred during his two stints at United, which he left again in November 2022 following a public disagreement with Erik ten Hag. Prior to the World Cup, Ronaldo’s contract was amicably ended, and he later signed with Al-Nassr in January.

After hitting yet another important milestone in his career, he has nevertheless taken the time to express his gratitude to his former Old Trafford teammates, particularly those from his first spell. Following his most recent victory, Al-Nassr took to Instagram to message his former and current coworkers.

“Three more points!” he wrote. I’m appreciative of all my teammates for helping me complete my 1200th match. We’re not quite through with this ride yet.

In what is probably going to be his last significant international competition with Portugal, Ronaldo is anticipated to be brought to Euro 2024. He was taken from the field early in the final due to an injury, but he still managed to win the championship with his country in 2016.

He’ll be 39 when he goes to Germany, and he hopes to have a swansong there. Ronaldo has stated that he hopes to play until he is forty years old, although it is expected that he will not be selected for the USA 2026 World Cup.
