The University of Queensland offers a number of scholarships for international students. These scholarships are available to all students who wish to study at UQ, regardless of their citizenship or country of residence.
Scholarships are based on academic merit, leadership potential and financial need; however there is no separate application process for these scholarships. Instead, applicants must meet the general criteria for admission and then be considered for these awards by the relevant Faculty Dean or Director.

The application process for UQ Scholarships is now open. If you are eligible to apply for a UQ Scholarship, you will need to complete an application form and submit it electronically.
The University of Queensland offers three types of scholarships:
Undergraduate – available to students in their first year of an undergraduate degree at UQ.
Postgraduate – available to students who have completed an undergraduate degree and are undertaking a postgraduate coursework or research program at UQ or another university.
Graduate – available to students who have completed an undergraduate degree and are undertaking a graduate coursework or research program at UQ or another university.
