If this occurs, Man Utd is prepared to sign a star for £288,000 per week – Report

Thomas Muller has previously been courted by Manchester United, but he has always chosen to remain with Bayern Munich.

His contract expires on June 30, 2024, so things could alter the following summer.

Man Utd prepared to attack and push to ultimately get a talent worth £117,000 per week.

As a result, Muller would choose to move elsewhere if Bayern Munich decide not to renew his contract at the Allianz. Bild reported yesterday that the German international wants to play on and does not want to end his career the following year. Man Utd is prepared to finally complete his signing if this happens.

If a deal cannot be made, “Manchester United are already lurking for the most successful player in Bayern’s history,” according to today’s edition of Bild.

Under Thomas Tuchel’s direction, the £288,000-per-week star has primarily warmed the bench during the current campaign.

Muller has only made four starts in the German Bundesliga thus far, but in those games he has assisted three times and scored one goal. He did not play in Friday night’s 1-0 victory over Koln as a substitute.

The 126-cap Kaiser has a lot of experience and was a vital part of the team that won the World Cup in 2014, but would Man Utd be a top signing for him?

Erik ten Hag basically doesn’t need a temporary solution to bolster the team because the veteran is well past his prime and will turn 35 next year.

If the Bavarians decide not to extend Thomas Muller’s contract, should Manchester United sign him?
