In January, why would you like to leave Manchester United? Rashford Disclosed Why He’s Leaving Manchester United

In an effort to build on a career-best season, Marcus Rashford, who recently signed a new deal with Manchester United, expressed his thoughts on Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.

Before Erik ten Hag became manager of Manchester United, Marcus Rashford acknowledged that he thought about leaving the team.

With thirty goals in Ten Hag’s debut season as manager, Rashford surpassed his career high. This month, he inked a new five-year contract. Last summer, things were very different. After an injury-plagued season in which he managed only five goals, Rashford’s form and confidence had reached an all-time low.

When he was at his lowest, 25-year-old Rashford stated that quitting his boyhood club was a viable possibility. His representatives have already had meetings with PSG. But Rashford’s best season at Old Trafford was made possible by Ten Hag’s man-management, which changed the game once the Dutchman was appointed.

To the question of whether he had ever considered quitting Manchester United, Rashford said, “Maybe a little bit before the manager came, but it’s football, it happens.” It was just perfect that he showed up at the club; everything happens for a purpose. It was the perfect time.

The conversation has slightly changed since it is clear that the manager is ambitious and has been since he came here. Not that I was very skeptical.

“I’m driven to keep getting better, to keep the players and staff getting to know one another and challenging ourselves to outperform last year.” That’s ultimately the only way we can return to winning trophies.

Although Rashford’s new contract gives him a £325,000 base salary each week, he claims that the excitement of playing and leading his childhood side to victory never goes away.

When questioned about United’s upcoming trip to the United States, Rashford responded, “Undoubtedly.” “When you score, it’s a feeling that never gets old; you just want it more and more.” It’s never dull.

Despite his ambition to score more goals, Ten Hag thinks Rashford will score even more in the upcoming season.

“I think Marcus has a lot of room to grow; I’m sure he could score even more,” he remarked. For instance, I think that in the past ten games, he has only scored two or three goals. I’m happy with where he was at the end of the previous season, where he is now, and how he has healed, even if there is definitely room for growth.

The Dutchman continued, “We helped him wherever we could, not just with his style of play but also with his mental attitude.” We are happy as a consequence, but we still need to aim higher. This season, he has the capacity to reach new heights and score forty goals.
