Manchester United

January sees the Manchester United outcast finally finish his move to Bundesliga.

Learn about Donny van de Beek’s loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt from Manchester United, which represents a new beginning for the midfield player.

Donny van de Beek of Manchester United looks to be getting closer to leaving Old Trafford, as rumors suggest he will soon be joining Eintracht Frankfurt on loan. This possible transfer stands in sharp contrast to the great hopes that accompanied his £40 million deal from Ajax in 2020.

Van de Beek had a solid record at Ajax, scoring forty goals in three seasons, but his transfer to the Premier League could have been improved. Under three different managers, the Dutchman managed just two goals in 35 league appearances as he failed to establish himself at Manchester United.

Not even a stint on loan at Everton provided the necessary spark to launch his career in the premier league of England. Fabrizio Romano reports that the 26-year-old midfield player has indicated his approval with Frankfurt’s proposition, which presents a chance for a comeback.

This could be more than just a borrowing arrangement; Manchester United will have to deal with serious financial ramifications. Frankfurt has obtained an option to extend the agreement until 2024 for a fixed cost of £13 million. This clause would cause the Red Devils on van de Beek to lose an incredible £27 million if it were to be implemented.

Due to his difficulties at Old Trafford, he was demoted by several Manchester United managers, including Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and now faces more difficulties with the arrival of Ralf Rangnick. Not even the experience of working alongside fellow Dutchman Erik ten Hag had the desired outcome.

Van van Beek is now looking forward to a new beginning in Germany, where he plans to rekindle his career at Frankfurt with seasoned players like goalie Kevin Trapp and World Cup champion Mario Gotze. The Dutch midfielder has a significant chance to regain his form and have an influence following a poor Premier League stint, if he decides to leave Manchester United.
