Journalist: “Very frustrated” and “unbelievable” Star for Manchester United dissatisfied with Ten Hag’s selection vs West Ham

Erik ten Hag has reaffirmed that Jadon Sancho’s return to Manchester United is still a possibility, but the 23-year-old winger has the final say in the matter.

Sancho was injured at Old Trafford after he publicly chastised Ten Hag for being left out of United’s September match against Arsenal.

Ten Hag had said at the time that Sancho had fallen short of what was required of a United player, especially in the training environment.

Sancho has since trained alone at Carrington and has not been included in the United starting lineup.

There are hints that the winger would want to rejoin Borussia Dortmund during the next January transfer window, having gone more than three months without seeing the field.

Ten Hag has already expressed interest in Sancho returning to the team after an apology and an openness to learning, but the matter is still unresolved.

The winger’s comeback is dependent on his performance, even though United has struggled in both domestic and European games.

Ten Hag stressed, “So it is about a culture and every player has to match certain standards and it was about that,” in a recent interview that was cited by the Manchester Evening News.

He is aware of what needs to happen there in terms of his future, and it is up to him if he chooses to go back. It is up to him; he is aware of what needs to be done.

The rumors of a possible trade involving Donyell Malen, a forward for Dortmund, are not very strong right now.

Malen’s services have been offered by middlemen, but major in-coming transfers in January don’t seem possible until Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s minority investment—which is intended for a new football department—gets final permission.

Sancho is currently not a member of United’s first team squad as he adheres to a customized training regimen.

On August 26, he made his final appearance on the field in a 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest.
