Kylian Mbappe’s mom reveals PSG star next destination as she sents subtle Man United transfer hints
Kylian Mbappe’s mother disclosed that the World Cup winner grew up wearing Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United shirt.
According to his mother, Kylian Mbappe, a standout player for Paris Saint-Germain, used to wear Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United shirt when he was younger.
Since the 24-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, his future is now unknown.
The world is waiting impatiently to see where Kylian Mbappe will play next, as several elite teams, including United, are pushing for the France international. Beginning on January 1st, Mbappe is eligible to hold pre-contract negotiations with international teams in preparation for a summer free transfer.
PSG is pushing for a new contract because they don’t want to lose their most valuable star player for nothing. The French team will have to choose between selling Mbappe in January or letting him go for free.
Kylian Mbappe’s mother disclosed that when the World Cup victor was younger, he used to wear Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United shirt.
Mbappe’s mother, Fayza Lamari, said to Football Italia (via Mirror) that her son once wore Ronaldo’s United jersey with pride. Says he:
He wore it to bed and while training. However, similar to other others: Manchester United, Real Madrid, France, PSG, and CR7 [Cristiano Ronaldo].
To date, the 24-year-old has made 271 appearances for PSG, scoring 222 goals and dishing out 99 assists. Despite Mbappe’s many accomplishments, the UEFA Champions League trophy has been mentioned in relation to the Frenchman.
This season, the Red Devils have had trouble finishing and being creative. Rasmus Hojlund was brought in by United during the summer transfer window to take charge of the offence and score more goals.
In terms of goals scored during the previous season, the Red Devils were eighth in the Premier League. Although he was the team’s top goal scorer, Marcus Rashford is having an unsettling drought this year.
