Man city Star Rodri Confirmed His £50m international have agreed personal terms to join Man united in January

Manchester United is trying to bolster their defense, which has struggled this season as a result of numerous injury problems.

The Red Devils have suffered greatly without Lisandro Martinez, and Erik ten Hag is even prepared to bench World Cup winner Raphael Varane in the summer.

Robin Le Normand of Real Sociedad is one of several center backs who are connected to the Old Trafford team in such a scenario.

According to rumors from last month, Man Utd is preparing to buy the Spaniard in order to bolster their defense.

More recently, it was disclosed by the Spanish source Nacional that Man Utd is prepared to pay the £52 million release clause in order to sign Le Normand.

Even in the summer, Real Sociedad showed interest in the central defender, but the 20-time English champions declined to engage in negotiations.

Consequently, Man Utd wants to forego the negotiation this time around by using the £52 million clause, according to the Catalan site.

Le Normand played a pivotal role in the La Roja team’s June UEFA Nations League victory. Furthermore, he participated in every qualification match for the European Championships (2024) since then.

The 27-year-old scored his first goal for Spain in their most recent match against Georgia, and they went on to win 3-1.

Do you think Man Utd should spend the £52 million needed to buy Robin Le Normand?
