It’s definitely too soon to pronounce Man United back in form, especially considering the caliber of opposition they play these days. Regardless of the result of the game, Sir Alex Ferguson believes Scott McTominay shouldn’t be benched because he exemplifies the Man United team spirit.

After the game, SAF praised the Scottish player for his leadership qualities, pointing out that he was performing admirably with Bruno Fernandes.

Fernandes took the position of Harry Maguire, who found it difficult to juggle his duties as captain and a Man United defender.

Although Maguire’s tenure at United has been less than stellar since Bruno Fernandes was elected captain, he has become one of the Premier League’s best defenders this season.
