Man Utd informed that their £13 million and £39 million deal will be accepted; decision closed

Goncalo Inacio has been coveted by Manchester United for months, and according to recent sources, Sporting CP is eager to transfer their top player.

The Lions are willing to accept a payment schedule, but they want to activate the player’s 60 million euro release clause in order to sell him, according to AS.

According to a credible Spanish source, the Lisbon club is willing to take an upfront payment of £39 million (45 million euros) and additional payments totaling £13 million for Inacio.

Regarding the suitors, it is said that Manchester United and genuine Madrid are the only two “real candidates” for the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old central defender is close to making the decision to leave Sporting CP during the January transfer window, according to AS.

According to a news source headquartered in Madrid, Inacio will make a decision about his future by the end of November or the beginning of December, measuring in weeks.

After more than 20 years, the youthful player was an important part of the Lions team that won the Liga Nos championship in 2021.

After winning nine of the first ten games, Sporting is now atop the table and has a good chance of winning the championship once more.

It is therefore unexpected that the Portuguese are ready to let go of their defensive maestro in the middle of the campaign.

Erik ten Hag must move quickly, though, as he needs to bolster the Old Trafford defense. Do you think Man Utd should pay Goncalo Inacio an initial £39 million fee to sign him?
