Man Utd is considering bringing in a £67,000-per-week player – Source

Gleison Bremer’s name is in the news once more after Manchester United was connected to many defenders during the summer.

During the most recent transfer window, the Red Devils signed players like Onana, Amrabat, Mount, and Hojlund; nevertheless, none of them gave the squad an early advantage, and as a result, we have suffered.

Onana has struggled in goal, Mount has been an immediate bust, Amrabat hasn’t played much, and despite making eight appearances (7 starts) in the Premier League, big-money acquisition Hojlund hasn’t scored a goal.

Therefore, strengthening the backline is Erik ten Hag’s first goal when he spends big money on team reinforcements during the winter transfer window.

The World Cup-winning center back Lisandro Martinez and left backs Shaw and Malacia are currently out due to injuries.

Calcio Mercato reports that Man Utd are considering a bid to recruit Bremer, who has been a rock solid player for Juventus, to bolster the central defense.

According to the Italian media site, Chelsea is also vying for the player’s signature, and the Old Lady is pressuring him to sign an extension. The player earns approximately 4 million euros a season, or roughly £67,000 every week.

Bremer has started 11 league games so far this season, helping the Bianconeri record eight clean sheets.

Juventus has won the previous six games without giving up a goal, giving up just six goals in the Serie A.

The 26-year-old Brazilian can strengthen Old Trafford’s defense because he has a wealth of talent and experience.

What do you think? Should Man Utd sign Gleison Bremer in January?
