Man Utd is reportedly seeking to sign a star for at least £35 million in January.
Throughout the summer, Jean-Clair Todibo was frequently linked to Manchester United, and the club even made a signing offer.
The player, though, made the decision to remain in France with Nice. According to current rumors, he is prepared to advance, and Manchester United is pressing to sign him in January.
As to a report published by Sport, United’s main goal for the winter transfer window is to capture Todibo.
The Red Devils could be interested in signing the 23-year-old center defender when he’s ready to join a premier European team, according to the Catalan media site.
After twelve games, Nice, who are only one point behind league leaders and defending champions Paris Saint-Germain, have been led by Todibo’s outstanding play.
With just four goals given up in Ligue 1, Les Aiglons boast the greatest defensive record, thanks to the French international’s stalwart play at the back.
He has helped the squad keep nine clean sheets in his eleven league starts, so it is not unexpected that Man Utd is pushing to buy him.
According to Sport, the Old Trafford team is already considering Raphael Varane’s departure and wants Todibo to take his position.
According to the Spanish source, United may need to pay Nice more than £35 million (40 million euros) to persuade them to part with their highly valued asset in the middle of the season.
Do you think Manchester United should make a bid above £35 million to sign Jean-Clair Todibo in January?
