Manchester United

Man Utd supporters are inconsolable as the team considers trading for a “baller” center defense, with Varane dropping in the hierarchy.

According to reports, MANCHESTER UNITED is mulling a move for Castello Lukeba, a defender for RB Leipzig.

Lukeba, 20, moved from Lyon to the Bundesliga team for £28 million in August, but his excellent performances have already drawn interest from other teams.

Man Utd are interested in Castello Lukeba.

Man Utd is eager to sign him, according to German publication BILD.

Earlier this season, the Red Devils contemplated a move for Lukeba but decided not to make a bid.

After that, RB Leipzig signed him, but United officials haven’t stopped keeping an eye on the midfield player.

Lukeba’s quick improvement in recent months has impressed Erik ten Hag and his crew, as scouts have reported several encouraging things.

Many Manchester United supporters are thrilled about the possibility of signing the young midfield player. One fan tweeted, “The guy is so fantastic I have watched him several times.”

Someone another said, “He’s a baller tbf.”

A third person said, “Too good of a signing, wouldn’t believe it if I saw him in our shirt.”

A bad recruitment technique has cost the Red Devils several talented young players in recent years.

However, director of football John Murtough is anticipated to take over once chief executive Richard Arnold leaves Old Trafford at the end of the current campaign.

This will make it easier for Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who plans to buy a 25% share in Manchester United, to hire more employees.

It’s believed that Ten Hag is keen to add players to his roster in January and at the end of the campaign.

The Red Devils had already been linked to moves for Nikola Krstovic of Lecce and Youssouf Fofana of Monaco, a midfielder.

Ten Hag is rumored to have Raphael Varane lower on his priority list in favor of a new defender.
