Manchester United’s expected lineup versus Copenhagen

On Wednesday night, Manchester United and FC Copenhagen will play in the Champions League at Parken Stadium.

The Red Devils, who have lost their last two games against Manchester City and Newcastle United in all competitions, will be hoping to snap their losing streak in this matchup after defeating Fulham last weekend.

In their opening two Champions League games of the season, United suffered defeats at the hands of Bayern Munich and Galatasaray. But because to Andre Onana’s late penalty save in the competition’s final match against the Danish team, they were able to secure all three points.

With three points from as many games played, United is presently third in the group. If they win this match, they might move up to second place.

Man Utd’s anticipated lineup against Copenhagen.

Prior to this match, United is dealing with a number of injuries. Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, and Casemiro are all currently out with injuries.

Due to an injury, Marcus Rashford was unable to play in the last game, but he has returned to training in advance of this one, so he could play tomorrow.

Despite suffering a head injury during the previous game, Harry Maguire continued to play. He is therefore uncertain going into this match, although it is anticipated that he will be well enough to start against Copenhagen.

Thus, Onana should continue to start in goal for United, while Altay Bayindir will have to make do with a bench spot once more.

After beginning the last few games as a substitute, Raphael Varane, who signed a £34 million contract with the team, may make a comeback to the starting lineup. Maguire and Varane might play defense together for the Red Devils. Thus, Jonny Evans may come back to the bench, and Victor Lindelof may go with him.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka started the last game, but after recovering from a hamstring injury, he might get a rest in this midweek match. Therefore, Sergio Reguilon may start on the other side for United, and Diogo Dalot may start at right back.

Bruno Fernandes may play in attacking midfield, while Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen are anticipated to start in midfield together. Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat may therefore have to make do with a spot on the bench.

Rashford might start on the opposite flank and Alejandro Garnacho on the left. Given his lackluster performance in the previous game, Antony may have to make do with a bench spot.

Anthony Martial will have to settle for a bench spot against his old team if Rasmus Hojlund starts at the front of United’s lineup.
