Marcus Rashford “may pull off a shocking Barcelona trade,” joining Manchester United in place of former Chelsea and Arsenal player.

Rashford may be headed for a move away even though he signed a lucrative new contract with Manchester United in July.

According to sources, BARCELONA is thinking about making a move for Marcus Rashford, the forward for Manchester United.

The 26-year-old Rashford struggled to repeat his 30 goals and 11 assists from the previous season for the Red Devils.

Marcus Rashford is a player Barcelona is interested in signing.

In front of Wednesday’s Premier League match against Chelsea, Erik ten Hag benched him.

And now there are rumors that the forward may be leaving Old Trafford.

According to Calciomercato, Rashford might see a surprise move to Barcelona.

A possible trade agreement might also be in the works, as the La Liga winners are reportedly open to sending Raphinha somewhere.

In 2021, United, Chelsea, and Arsenal were all mentioned as potential suitors for the Brazil international.

Then, the two London teams fought it out for his signature, but he ultimately chose to leave Leeds and sign with Barcelona.

Since then, he has made 64 appearances and scored 12 goals for Xavi’s team.

Five months ago, Rashford signed a lucrative five-year contract worth £325,000 per week with United.

Only four La Liga games have Raphinha started thus far this season.

Fans, though, haven’t been impressed with him in a while.

The England international received criticism from club icon Paul Scholes for his subpar play against Newcastle last week.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, he declared: “There is no denying Marcus’ potential; his performance last year was outstanding.

“But I don’t think it’s good for the team when you decide to walk back like he did and he comes off and behaves like that.

And he’s currently among the most seasoned players. It’s a player that other players admire. He’s looked up to by Mainoo. Garnacho admires him greatly.”
