Mason Greenwood, a star kid on loan from Manchester United, may return to the Premier League?

Mason Greenwood, a Manchester United loanee who scored for Getafe in their 2-1 La Liga victory against Almeria last weekend, is apparently being watched by Premier League clubs.

After many criminal allegations against him were dismissed, United felt it would be best for Greenwood to continue his career away from Old Trafford. In September, he joined the Spanish team on loan from the Red Devils.

This season, the 22-year-old has made ten appearances in La Liga, tallying two goals and three assists in his stay in Spain.

Several Premier League scouts reportedly attended the Estadio Coliseum to watch the England international play after he scored over the weekend, according to a report from the Spanish publication AS.

According to the source, Greenwood is still considering a permanent move away from Old Trafford. Although English teams are interested in signing him, Getafe is growing more eager to keep him on loan.

The 22-year-old was connected to at least two Championship teams, as well as clubs in Italy and Turkey, but no approaches from Premier League teams were made for him during the most recent transfer window.

At the age of six, Greenwood became a member of Manchester United, and he will remain a Red Devil until 2025.

Greenwood, who made his United debut in 2019 at the age of just 17, went on to score 35 goals in 129 appearances while playing for the first team.
