‘NO ONE can touch’ the unique present that Cristiano Ronaldo gave to Rashford

Marcus Rashford has stated that no one is allowed to receive a present from his former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Between 2021 and 2022, Rashford and Ronaldo were teammates at Old Trafford for just over a year before the latter quit the team due to a strained relationship with manager Erik ten Hag.

Rashford acknowledges that Ronaldo has always been one of his inspirations, but they still have a great deal of respect for each other even after Ronaldo moved on.

Before making his second appearance at United, Ronaldo gifted Rashford a pair of £145 Nike Air Max 97 CR7 Red trainers back in 2018. The United striker then shared the gift on Instagram with the caption, “Thanks for the gift @cristiano.”

Five years later, he disclosed that he has never worn the sneakers and that he keeps people away from them for fear of damaging them.

“They are untouchable!” While making a visit on the TV program Sneaker Shopping, Rashford told host Joe La Puma.

“When I was younger, one of my favorite players was Ronaldo.” I thought the shoe was nice, and I would want to wear it, but I’m not sure what I would do to myself if I screwed them up.

Thus, it would be best for me to avoid those people.

The fact that Rashford won’t wear the trainers shows how important they are to him. Over the years, he has accumulated an impressive collection of shoes and has emerged as a trailblazer in fashion.

The 26-year-old, who has previously appeared on the front cover of Vogue, went to Paris Fashion Week earlier this year with Jude Bellingham, an England teammate.

But after a challenging start to the United season in which he has only once found the net, his attention is now completely on football and striving to return to his best.

He has been reported to be delayed due to a personal problem, but he is scheduled to reunite with the England team later this week for their Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.
