Manchester United

“No regrets,” according to Fabrizio Romano, the top player for United is “working hard” to regain form.

Despite the player’s continuous struggles this season, renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided insight into Marcus Rashford’s present outlook and position at Manchester United.

The England international struggled this season, managing just two goals and one assist in the Premier League despite his incredible 30-goal performance for Man United across all competitions last season.

The 26-year-old has dealt with personal problems off the field, such as his brother’s arrest on an assault charge while on vacation in Miami.

Rashford tragically lost his cousin as well, and he dedicated a goal against Everton to him.

Manager Erik ten Hag praised captain Bruno Fernandes for giving Rashford the opportunity during United’s 3-0 victory over Everton, in which Rashford converted a penalty.

Roy Keane, a former captain of United, harshly disagreed with the choice, calling it “absolute rubbish.”

Keane underlined that United still has a ways to go before it can contend with the best clubs in the Premier League.

Paul Scholes, the club great, publicly chastised Marcus Rashford after United’s 1-0 loss to Newcastle United, casting doubt on his work ethic and claiming he has caused more harm than good to the team.

However, teammate Harry Maguire, who is used to taking criticism, stood up for Rashford, saying that he is trying hard to find his form again.

Recently, Fabrizio Romano wrote for CaughtOffside and offered his thoughts on Rashford’s current circumstances.

The journalist claims that Rashford is still happy at Old Trafford and that he has faith in Ten Hag and the team.

“We can’t shift from Rashford being one of the best players in the world last season to ‘needs a change’ now; that is football,” Romano said, pleading with supporters not to pass judgment on the 26-year-old too quickly.

Romano made it clear that Rashford is not the only player struggling with form for United. Rashford will surely be looking for Ten Hag’s chance to have a big influence as United gets ready to play Chelsea at Old Trafford. That may quiet his detractors and start a revolution in his season.
