Premier League manager “sacked” following unexpected outcome to depart Manager of Man Utd Erik ten Hag in an unwelcome position

A Premier League manager was’sacked’ on the opening day of the current season.

Paul Heckingbottom is the first manager to leave the Premier League this season, according to Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Al Saud, the owner of the team.

Prince Abdullah announced Chris Wilder’s hiring and Paul Heckingbottom’s departure on TalkSPORT.

As of right now, nothing has been declared on the club’s official channels.

In their first Premier League season since 2006–07, former United manager Wilder led the team to ninth place in 2019–2020.

Heckingbottom, meanwhile, was fired following his team’s weekend 5-0 loss to Burnley.

With just one victory in their last 14 top-flight games, the Blades fell to the bottom of the Premier League standings. scored the fewest goals (11) and let up the most goals (39) in the league.

Unlike last season, when Bournemouth fired Scott Parker after just four games, United is the first Premier League team to fire a manager this year.

United has only managed to pick up five points since being promoted, and they have suffered some really embarrassing losses. Newcastle United’s 8-0 loss at Bramall Lane in September stands as United’s worst-ever home loss.

In October, the team suffered a 5-0 loss at the Emirates to Arsenal.

United has scored less points so far this season than Derby County did during their historic 11-point 2007–08 campaign.

Erik ten Hag is currently the second most likely manager to be fired, according to Oddschecker, after leading Manchester United to a miserable start to the Premier League season both at home and abroad.
