Manchester United

Prior to the match against Galatasaray, Fred paid a visit to the Manchester United squad he used to play for.

Prior to their pivotal Champions League match against Galatasaray on Wednesday night, Manchester United welcomed a very special guest.

The star of Manchester United, Fred, visited his old team the night before their pivotal Champions League matchup with Galatasaray.

After five years at Old Trafford, the Brazilian midfielder moved to Fenerbahce, the Turkish champions’ strong local rivals, in the summer.

Fans and supporters of the United team adored Fred, who was frequently commended for his commitment to the team and his strong work ethic.

During his five years with United, he made 213 appearances, scoring 14 goals and contributing significantly to many of the team’s most noteworthy recent victories.

Although Fred had a fantastic start to life in Turkey with Fenerbahce, the league leaders, he has recently been unable to play due to a groin injury he sustained last month.

The former United defender took advantage of the chance to catch up with his old teammates while they were in the Turkish city, as he will be missing his team’s Europa Conference League match against Nordsjaelland later this week.

At the United hotel, Fred was photographed with close pals Bruno Fernandes and Victor Lindelof. He also spoke with Erik ten Hag and his assistant coaches, Steve McClaren and Mitchell van der Gaag.

For United to stand a serious hope of making it to the Champions League knockout stages this season, they must defeat Galatasaray on Wednesday night.
