Putin Sends King Charles IIl Condolences Following Queen Elizabeth’s Death

President Putin has sent condolences to King Charles IIl of Britain and the peoples of the world following the death of Queen Elizabeth ll.

The Russian President sent his condolences to the Royal family on behalf of the entire Russian people.

He said:

“The most important events of the recent history of the United Kingdom are inextricably linked with the name of Her Majesty.

For many decades, Elizabeth II rightfully enjoyed the love and respect of her people, as well as authority on the world stage. I wish you courage and perseverance in the face of this difficult, irreparable loss,” The Russian president added that he was saddened by the passing of one of Britain’s best-known figures.

The Russian President is known for his strong ties with Britain, which have been shaken over the years as both countries face increasing isolation from the following their annexation of Crimea and involvement in eastern Ukraine invasion.
