Return Date Known – “DEVIL CURSE”: Man Utd supporters fear as TWO MORE INJURIES are sustained when Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw are substituted out of the Bayern Munich match.

Harry Maguire had to be substituted off the pitch in the first half of Manchester United’s 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich at Old Trafford due to an injury.

Manager Erik ten Hag made an early substitute because Maguire’s injury was too serious, even after he tried to play on and received care on the pitch.

The crowd gave the England international, who had lately drawn accolades for his performances, a standing ovation when Jonny Evans replaced him.

Social media was used by supporters to vent their annoyance; some even suggested that the club was cursed because of the increasing number of injuries.

The reinstatement of Varane in the starting lineup and the subsequent injury to Maguire inflamed the feelings of supporters who feel constantly battered by bad luck.

With seven players already out with injuries, including Lisandro Martinez, Maguire’s injury exacerbates United’s problems even more.

Another important player, Luke Shaw, was also unable to finish the match against Bayern due to symptoms he may have had from a hamstring injury in the first half.

Shaw, who just made his way back into the game following a three-month injury layoff, exacerbates the team’s injury problems.

United needed to beat Bayern and draw the second group stage match between Copenhagen and Galatasaray in order to advance, but Maguire’s injury delivered a serious blow to their hopes.

Unfortunately, United’s European campaign came to an end with the 1-0 loss and Copenhagen’s matching victory.
