Rio Ferdinand asserts that Kobbie Mainoo has replaced Sofyan Amrabat at Manchester United.

Kobbie Mainoo had a standout role in Manchester United’s victory over Everton.

Rio Ferdinand thinks Kobbie Mainoo has already demonstrated enough to start for Manchester United ahead of Sofyan Amrabat.

At his first-ever Premier League start on Sunday, Mainoo turned in a strong effort as United easily defeated 3-0 at Goodison Park.

Mainoo’s performance earned him praise from Bruno Fernandes as United’s Man of the Match, while Erik ten Hag called the 18-year-old’s work in center midfield “mature.”

Amrabat took Mainoo’s place in the second half at Goodison Park, but Ferdinand believes the eighteen-year-old ought to stay out of the starting lineup for United.

Ferdinand remarked on Vibe With Five, “I don’t know how they gave the Man of the Match [award] elsewhere.”

18 years old, particularly in center midfield, is a fairly uncommon age for a composed performance.

In the second half, Sofyan Amrabat took Kobbie Maino’s place as Manchester United defeated Everton 3-0.

“Away from home, given the circumstances they went to Goodison Park, Everton had a crash, bang, wallop.”

In between the center backs, he was dropping in, not even getting it and bopping it one or two touches; instead, he was getting it, taking touches, edging past or away from people, evading the press and the challenge, and then letting it go. These goalie and center backs have been looking for someone who can beat the press and relieve pressure.

I was thinking about that the other day—18-year-olds making their Premier League debuts with such kind of performance… [Cesc] Fabregas, huh? Not that he [Mainoo] is better than these individuals; in fact, some have been more explosive but I am talking about composure,This was a crazy performance.
