Sofyan Amrabat Issues Harsh Warning to Liverpool Over Interference in €30m Signing.
Manchester United transfer target Sofyan Amrabat is also being courted by Liverpool, with the Reds set to lose the services of Fabinho and club captain Jordan Henderson.
Sofyan Amrabat has firmly rejected the idea of joining Liverpool this summer, despite Manchester United’s interest in him.
The 26-year-old midfielder has garnered attention from top clubs in Europe after his impressive performances during Morocco’s World Cup semi-final run in 2022.
While his qualities would have made him a suitable addition to Liverpool’s midfield, it seems Jurgen Klopp will have to explore other options as Amrabat has no intention of joining the Reds.
As per reports from Corriere della Sera via GFNI, Sofyan Amrabat has rejected Liverpool’s offers and has chosen to join Manchester United. The report indicates that the player has already reached an agreement with Manchester United for the signing.
Fiorentina is open to selling Sofyan Amrabat this summer if a club meets their €30 million asking price. While Manchester United’s current priority is to secure a new striker, Erik ten Hag is interested in adding another midfielder if funds are raised through player sales.
Ten Hag knows Amrabat well from their time at FC Utrecht. So far, no concrete offers have been made for Amrabat’s services, and Fiorentina’s general manager has encouraged him to remain focused on the upcoming Serie A season.
While Amrabat’s future remains uncertain, Fiorentina values him as an essential part of their midfield department.
