Ten Hag is clearing off a lot of players from Manchester United, including Eriksen, Martial, and others *Full list

Up to thirteen players may depart Manchester United throughout the next transfer windows as part of a huge clear-out that the team is getting ready for.

In an effort to make United legitimate challengers for the Premier League crown, Erik ten Hag is hoping to strengthen his team before the upcoming campaign. He will have to remove a lot of dead wood in order to accomplish this, and according to Manchester Evening News, there are a lot of candidates waiting to be offloaded.

When their contracts expire at the end of the season, goalkeeper Tom Heaton, center backs Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof, as well as full-backs Brandon Williams and Alvaro Fernandez—who are now on loan at Ipswich and Girona, respectively—may all walk away from the team for nothing. Lindelof, Williams, and Fernandez’s contracts can all be extended by United, but they also have the option to let them expire.

After being willing to sell Scott McTominay in the summer, United may decide to let him go from midfield. Christian Eriksen and Casemiro may also be allowed to go if bids are made for them. Furthermore, the Red Devils may decide not to extend Sofyan Amrabat’s loan agreement.

Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek are players United will look to trade in January; Anthony Martial is free to depart at the conclusion of the year.

Shola Shoretire, 19, a graduate of the academy, may also be free to depart after making just a few appearances for the senior squad in the 2021–22 season and failing to make an impression.

In his debut season as manager, Ten Hag led United to a third-place Premier League finish. They have, however, had a difficult start to the current season, falling as low as sixth after 12 games. With two games remaining, they run the risk of losing badly in the Champions League as well. Although injuries have been a problem for United thus far, the coach and his team have come under fire for their output and performances.

On November 26, United will return to Premier League action when they visit Goodison Park to play Everton. They will fly to Istanbul for their penultimate Champions League group stage match against Galatasaray, which takes place three days later.
