Manchester United

The Bundesliga team has reached an agreement to sign the 26-year-old Manchester United star, subject to a medical schedule.

Donny van de Beek, a midfielder for Manchester United who is currently out of favor, looks to be leaving Old Trafford after a difficult stint there by taking a loan to Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt in the January transfer window.

According to renowned transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano, Eintracht Frankfurt has the option to make the move permanent in exchange for Manchester United receiving a loan fee.

The anticipated cost to Frankfurt of the optional purchase option is around €15 million.

Van van Beek has had difficulty living up to the great expectations placed on him when he joined United following an outstanding time under Ten Hag at Ajax.

His debut goal was encouraging, but he hasn’t had much success at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag’s management failed to produce the anticipated comeback, and the 26-year-old’s shares at United have now dropped even more.

His playing time has been restricted due to a previous knee injury and an unsuccessful loan move to Lorient; he has only made two substitute appearances this season, totaling just 21 minutes.

There were rumors of extensive negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt, which suggested Van de Beek was ready to relocate.

There had been some initial wage-related difficulties, but Romano claims that these have been handled, indicating that the move is imminent.

Manchester United has contracted Van van Beek until the summer of 2025, with a one-year extension option.

The loan move gives Van de Beek the chance to revitalize his career and possibly secure a permanent exit in the summer, putting him in the shop window for potential bidders, even though the buy option for Eintracht Frankfurt is not mandatory.
