According to Alfredo Pedulla, Manchester United have a “total agreement” with Rasmus Hojlund and Sofyan Amrabat. Completing these signings would be a significant leap towards completing Erik ten Hag’s lineup, with an estimated outlay of over £86 million between the striker and the Moroccan midfielder.

Manchester United has made significant progress in their transfer dealings, reaching agreements with both Sofyan Amrabat and Rasmus Hojlund.

The signing of Rasmus Hojlund would address the club’s need for a dedicated number nine since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure. The young Danish striker has an impressive scoring record in Serie A.

While Hojlund has agreed to personal terms with Manchester United, finalizing the deal with Atalanta remains pending. Atalanta is expected to demand a substantial fee due to Hojlund’s importance to their squad.

In addition to Hojlund, the club has also secured an agreement with Sofyan Amrabat. Manchester United acted swiftly to fend off interest from Saudi Arabia by meeting the midfielder’s requirements, avoiding a potential move to the Middle East.

Amrabat’s standout performances in the World Cup in Qatar showcased his defensive strength and creativity in the midfield. His addition would provide the Old Trafford faithful with an exciting player to support.

With these signings, it appears that manager Erik ten Hag’s squad might be close to completion for the upcoming season. The acquisition of Andre Onana as the new goalkeeper and the addition of a striker like Hojlund, along with creative force Mason Mount and hard-working midfielder Amrabat, leaves little else to be done to bolster the team. Manchester United fans can feel content with the side’s potential for the first time in a while.

The completion of these deals might rule out the possibility of signing Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur. While Kane’s potential sale was initially considered, the substantial outlay required for Amrabat and Hojlund could pose financial constraints within the FFP regulations, making it difficult to pursue England’s top scorer. Despite the abundance of talent at Carrington, securing Kane’s signature might be an opportunity that slips away.
