(Video): Onana!! late penalty save shakes Old Trafford in the 96th minute to win it for Man United vs Copenhagen in the champions league
During Manchester United’s 1-0 victory over Copenhagen, Andre Onana has shown to be an unexpected hero.
With a strong header in the 72nd minute, Harry Maguire gave United the lead. But in the last seconds of the match, Copenhagen had an opportunity to steal a point.
Scott McTominay gave up a penalty in the 94th minute after trying to clear the ball with his raised foot and colliding with Mohamed Elyounoussi.
The penalty was upheld following a VAR review, with the referee pointing directly to the spot.
But Andre Onana had the final word when he made a fantastic save to deny Jordan Larsson from the spot.
