Wolves wants to loan a winger from Manchester United in January.
Although Amad Diallo hasn’t played in a league this season, teams will still want to sign the winger in January.
The 21-year-old is still recovering from a knee injury he sustained on the preseason tour.
Having said that, Amad ought to make a comeback following the international break as he is now practicing using the ball in training.
This week’s reports indicate that Wolves may attempt to recruit Amad on a loan in January, but I have no doubt that his main goal will be to accrue playing time at United.
Footballtransfers.com claims that Wolves have already gotten in touch with United over the potential for an Amad loan.
It is believed that Wolves scouted Amad in 2021; however, because Atalanta accepted United’s bid for the player, Wolves were unable to sign him. They also attempted to sign him in 2022 after a disappointing stint at Rangers on a loan.
As one of Tony Mowbray’s greatest attacking players, Amad turned things around at Sunderland last season, helping them make it to the play-offs with 14 goals in 39 Championship games.
After his injury heals, Amad can anticipate playing time because Antony is having trouble staying on the field and Facundo Pellistri is not starting for the team.
The Ivorian’s Old Trafford deal is set to expire in two years, although United has the option to add one more year to it.
Please share your thoughts in the comments section on whether you believe Amad will play for United this season or if we should send him out on loan once more.
