‘You’re the main problem of Man united we’re having at the moment and not Onana

After a dismal 3-3 Champions League tie with Galatasaray, Manchester United will return to focus on the Premier League.

Erik ten Hag’s team is now bottom of their group and will need to defeat Bayern Munich in their last group match in order to advance, while Galatasaray needs to draw with Copenhagen in order to advance to the round of 16. When his team plays Newcastle, a team in the top four, on Saturday, Ten Hag will be hopeful that his team can resume winning ways.

United has won its last three league games and is presently sitting just one point ahead of Newcastle in sixth place. In light of that, the most recent information from Manchester’s red area is provided here.

Ten Hag will remain with Onana.

Notwithstanding his two errors that directly resulted in goals against Galatasaray, goalkeeper Andre Onana is scheduled to start against Newcastle.

Since making a big-money transfer from Inter Milan in the summer, Onana has made a number of mistakes. Ten Hag has cautioned the 27-year-old that he cannot afford to make any more errors, as backup goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is ready and waiting.

“Altay is adjusting to European football and the Premier League, which may be challenging for someone from Turkey. However, we’re quite happy with that procedure; he’s progressing nicely. He must exercise patience, but if he continues to make progress and works hard, he will eventually have his opportunity, so he must seize it.

Bruno Fernandes, the captain of United, stated that they “conceded really bad goals” against Galatasaray. Paul Scholes has criticized this statement, pointing out that he was also guilty of giving up “stupid fouls.”

Scholes said to TNT Sports, “I know in his interview he is talking about mistakes, but he made two big mistakes tonight by giving away two stupid fouls that led to two goals.” “As the captain, he must accept responsibility on behalf of the entire squad; they should win this game.

“They simply aren’t able to maintain a clean sheet; the defense is disorganized, the keeper makes errors, and Bruno gives up cheap free kicks.” It doesn’t need to be done, but it always makes the game harder for them.
